So I’m trying to register a device to AirVantage, and I copied the ICCID, IMEI, and FSN exactly, however I keep getting the error “context is not valid for the user” and I think they’re more related to the IMEI and FSN, but nothing seems to be posted here other than this: Unable to register mangOH red with WP8548 on Airvantage
It’s seems to be the same error but it was never solved. Has anyone else run into this?
Even I’m getting same error after entering correct entries. Has anyone figured out whats the root cause of the problem?
Were either of you (@walawalkarp or @grafmark59) able to get to the bottom of this? I am experiencing the same issue.
I was not. The only thing that I could think of was that it was previously used by someone else, and that they might have registered it before I used it, which may be preventing me from doing so? But regardless, we ended up moving to a different solution due to the lack of documentation/support.
Indeed, a colleague of mine had already registered this device/SIM configuration. This seems to have been be the cause.
