Those are logs from starting the board two separate times. First time only the RS-232 was connected to the PC. Second time the USB was connected as well.
Was either of my logs useful, I did a brief look through and I must be honest, at my level of Linux there is nothing that stands out to me.

I tried this with my second mangOH board, one I have at a different location and why I could not get to it till today, and the same issues occurred. this is leading me to believe the issue is with my VM or my PC in general. I will attempt to install a new VM in the next day or so and if that still produces no positive results then I will attempt a fresh install of my windows OS and then the VM on top of that.

EDIT: Just downloaded a new copy of Legato (legato-16.07-windows.zip). Unzipped and added it to my list of VMs (double clicked on the file). Still no success in SSHing into the mangOH board. Uninstalled putty and then reinstalled putty, still no success.

It appears that I can not. Using putty and cool term after connecting, I wait for linux to finish starting up and then enter “app status” or “cm info” and in both cases nothing happens.

I reinstalled DriverSetup.exe that comes with the legato-16.07-windows.zip file downloded from the getting stated section of mangoh.io. After restarting the PC it I can now SSH into the mangOH Green board. I will now go back to trying to connect to my WiFi following the prescribed steps and let you know how it goes.

could you please let me know where to find this file. When I try “cd tmp” on the mangOH through SSH I get a message “can’t cd to tmp” and if I try looking on the PC no such file exists.

If I remove any need for a password to connect to my WiFI then the mangOH can connect. any use of a password produces an issue.
