Been at this for a while with both the mangoh red and mangoh yellow none of the setup instructions seem to be current. I’m working on Ubuntu 20.04.2. Trying with both vscode and from command line. Below is the results from the command line following the steps from mangOH Yellow Getting Started Guide [Rev4]
Results at step 8:
~/myWorkspace/mangOH$ make yellow
Not building LEGATO due to $LEGATO == 0
NOTE: When using leaf, these TOOLCHAIN_X variables don’t need to be passed to mksys.
thanks on 20 the following packages have issues if trying to install manually:
Reading package lists… Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information… Done
Note, selecting ‘python-is-python2’ instead of ‘python’
Note, selecting ‘libsdl1.2-dev’ instead of ‘libsdl-dev’
Package python-git is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
However the following packages replace it:
python-git-doc
just retried step by step on Ubuntu 18.04 with same results at step 8 make yellow. Not sure I am willing to try 16 at this point. Can anyone confirm success setting up a development environment using the current mangoh yellow documentation and what OS was supported?
OK - Finally compiled. Apparently the process is to pick a configuration and just comment out all of the compile issues and assume that that functionality is not needed. Please post if there is a known clean version of mangoh yellow, but I’m up and running for now. Thanks
I am having an issue with the windows system that when the sim is plugged into the mangoh yellow, the registration fails. I tried using the same sim in an arduino to check network connectivity and that seems to be working fine.
