Talon CAN bus IoT Card: why is there a level shifter?

Hello everyone. I’m analyzing more the circuitry behind the mangOH systems. Could anyone explain to me better why there is a level shifter on the Talon CAN IoT CARD? The motivation that I gave myself is the following: from the datasheet you can see that the output voltage of the mangOH goes from 4.5 V to 17 V (really 17 V ?!)

while the Talon module accepts input voltages between 1.8 V and 3.3 V.

Is it fair to say that the level shifter is used to adapt the voltages on both sides to each other? Also I saw that the level shifter is enabled on GPIO 13: why is it done sometimes yes and sometimes not? Thanks to anyone who wants to help me, regards

the power supply 4.5V to 17V is the input voltage to CN1200 on mangoh green board.

I believe the SPI bus from WP module is 1.8V system.

From the Power Managment on Developer’s Guide, can we say that IOT0 works at 1.8 V?

IOT0 contains a lot of pins, which pins are you referring to?

ok solved, it was reported in another manual:

Thank you for the help
