mangOH red with wp7603 & SierraWireless SIM card network connectivity issue

Hi,

I recently got a mangoh-red board with wp7603 and a starter Sierra-Wireless 100MB SIM card.

The mangoh/legato firmware / app framework build and installed worked as described in the getting started guide. I registered the mangoh-red system in AirVantage using the IMEI.

I have run into an issue with network connectivity that I hope you can help with.

I am powering on the mangoh-red module in Maryland/USA with the Sierra-Wireless SIM card and the module is connecting to AT&T network . However it is only connecting to UMTS n/w (not LTE) and is failing registration. I am also not seeing any status information for this device on AirVantage

I also tried changing the APN from “internet.sierrawireless.com” to “NXTGENPHONE” for AT&T and still couldn’t get connected.

Is your antenna connected properly?

I think it is connected well - I re-seated the antenna . I am connecting both the main and the diversity antennas. Also, I am able to:

  1. See the AT&T UMTS NW with the SierraWireless SIM card
  2. See the Verizon LTE NW with a separate VZW SIM - however, here too I get registration denied message.

Also, what is the apn with Sierra Wireless SIM?
