DNS on Yellow fails

On Red, we were able to curl to our own endpoint. On Yellow, names and addresses aren’t being resolved. How to fix?
We get a response from the DNS 52.17.142.62, but no response from anything else.
‘cm data connect’ fails in testing the connection.

root@swi-mdm9x28-wp:~# cm data connect

On Yellow, if you have Octave apps installed you are directed to a private APN. If you disable Octave, then you go to third party site. Could you connect to your server through Octave?

Hello Ashish,
We would like to transmit direct to our own servers.
What’s involved in connecting through Octave? Could you point to the relevant section of your docs? I browsed and see the general overview graphic showing this, but I didn’t find any details.
Thanks

Hi there,
I am facing the same situation.
I am out of the 3 months Octave trial and want to test an app where the connection is direct to my server. How should I do ?
Thanks

Have you tried the non-octave firmware? You will need to use your own SIM as of today but we are looking at ways to use built in R2C sim.

Hi,
Thank you for your answer.
Indeed, it works using non-Octave firmware + my own Sim, and updating the APN.
Thanks
