can any clarify me, what is the difference b/w
LoRa IoT Card ARM-N8-LR ATIM IoT card and LoRaWan IoT Card ARM-N8-LW ATIM IoT card.

At a quick glance, I’d say it’s probably just software - LoRaWAN builds on top of LoRa …

LoRa is just the basic radio modulation technique - this is proprietary to Semtech.

LoRaWAN is an open-source networking layer built on top of LoRa technology.

The LoRaWAN specification is developed and maintained by the LoRa Alliance: an open association of collaborating members.

I eventually got a reply from ATIM.

As noted above, the “LoRa” module is just basic LoRa modulation - without the additonal LoRaWAN networking layer. So you could use this just as a proprietary, point-to-point radio link.

The “LoRaWAN” module adds the networking layer - so you would use it with a gateway to a public or private LoRaWAN network.
