Application is not installed (MangOH Red WP8548)

Hi

I am able to build and update the existing workspace to device connect 192.168.2.2 but when i am trying to start it is showing “Application is not installed’”

i am getting unpacking package and applying update: 100% to device at address 192.168.2.2 and able to see its installed.

Please let me know, any changes i need to do.

are you using mangohred or fx30?

I am using mangohred kit, we have created workspace for fx30 and I am trying to use it for mangohred.

we can build .adef on mangohred or need to use .sdef files for mangohred?

what does this workspace for fx30 do? Most probably it is being loaded but crashes

ok. Workspace is for to get wifi access points list with ssid name and etc. By using mangohred kit we can get the same right?

Hi Sunil,

You need to either have a WiFi iot card or wait for WiFi software for mangOH REd that will be available in late Oct or early nov.

Thanks for info. I am trying to start the samples like wifiClientTest or wifiApTest but wifi connect failed with my access point details (ssid & password).

WiFi IOT Card means, is it will come with MangOH Red kit or we need to get it separately. Please provide information related to Wifi IOT card. It will helpful for further step.

So if I understand correctly, onboard wi-fi is a planned feature to be implemented later this year with a firmware package update?

I’ve got the talon mirage wi-fi board, but dont see any of the power LED’s for the IOT expansion board light up when plugged in and powered on. Is there a jumper config that i missed?

yes, correct, we will provide instructions for that.

For Talon card, can you try the following with release 14 firmware:

I see the issue. We need to activate gpio expander to enable the muxing between the SD card and iot0. Let me see what we can do on this shortly.

Any progress on this? If not is there a known working wi-fi module for the mangOH red.

We are updating the yocto to make this easier . FW release is in December and we will provide support for both on board WIFi as well as the TI IoT card at that time.

yes, I did try. And I think I managed to build and install the driver. However, I got some problems when testing the results (as detailed in this post: Bluetooth WL18xx driver for mangOH: how to flash the driver).

What version of Legato have you installed on your host computer?

If you followed the mangoh red getting started guide, then you should run the following commands
Get the latest files:
$ git pull
b. Update the git configuration with any new submodules added recently:
$ git submodule init
c. Check out the correct version for all of the submodules:
$ git submodule update
