after upgrading my WP8548 to FW Release 14 (SWI9X15Y_07.12.09.00 r34123 CARMD-EV-FRMWR1 2017/04/26 23:34:19) it seems that the AT command ATE1 to enable the command echo. I access the AT port from the Linux command line by means of the “microcom” program. Most of the AT commands that I tried are executed correctly. The echo is off, though: the commands “ATE1” and “ATE0” do not seem to work. Below you see how the output looks like:
