Help needed

Ubuntu 16.04
mangOH Red CF3 WP8548

Update the target’s firmware to the latest available version:
$ fwupdate download WPx5xx_Release14_GENERIC_SPK.spk 192.168.2.2
Permission denied (publickey)

Same error with the command:

ssh root@192.168.2.2
Permission denied (publickey)

configtargetssh 192.168.2.2

Permission denied (publickey)

It may be that the error was entered by me, when configuring the Login Authentication by selecting option one:

  1. Setup ssh keys and disable passwords-based authentication via ssh (the most secure)

Instead option 3

3)  Do nothing

Any suggestion will be welcome

Thanks in advance…/Melchor Sanz

How can i reset the mangOH red?

I think when setting the first ssh connection to the device, choosing option 1 instead of 3, I created a password on the device that I can not access …

Any suggestions ??

Can you connect via the console port? If so, what are the contents of the directory: /mnt/flash/config/system/etc/?

@dfey I am also Facing the same problem, I am unable to see anything in console port. Please help me to resolve the above issue.

I am unable to login via console port.

I think you can re-flash module by run exe file on windows machine.

Then reconnect to linux machine, select option 3 for the first login.

Thanks

@Thong

Hi rajmohans

You can try to send AT command: AT!NVRESTORE=3

Hello,

I have the same issue with my mangoH red. When I try to open an SSH connexion, I have the following message : “Permission denied”. I think somebody choose option 1 instead of option 3 “Do nothing” at the first connexion.

I try to re-flash the module by using run exe file on windows machine. The issue is the same. I also try AT command “AT!NVRESTORE=3”. The issue is always the same.

Do you have any idea ?

Thank you very much for your feedback.
Thanks.
