Are you downloading correct fw?
Is it caused by not enough current?

yes another boards work good.
the battery is connected. i try make restore firmware via swiflash. The board rebooted, and modem crashed

Will there be any reset if you flash the previous working fw?

Also are you using mangoh board?
If yes, you can switch the two modules to isolate if this is board issue

so I wanted to ask how to change the firmware, so that it completely rewrites everything, does a full reset?

because when I install the spk it feels like it does not always wipe everything, and the user partion should be cleaned by swiflash -r (and this also does not always help)

I used one click exe to update fw in windows platform.

The userapp partition will not erased by swiflash tool in the new FW.
You need to downgrade to some old fw and use swiflash tool to erase userapp partition .
E.g. wp76 → downgrade to r12 or before

Wp77 → downgrade to r11 or before

so if i have r14 on mango yellow. i should downgrade to previous fw( r13), use swiflash and then install r14. or r11 every time?

If you need to erase userapp partition, then yes.

But the question is do you need to erase userapp partition everytime?
This seems not to be a use case.

I need the right mechanism how it works. so from r12 removed the functionality of cleaning user partion?

but installing spk which contains linux image, legato and fw for modem, is it all updated?
