after giving cm radio on
i have tried using terminal too ,same result

.Power Controller temperature: 46

.Power: OFF
.Current Network Operator:
.Current RAT: Not available
.Status: Not registered and not currently searching for new operator (LE_MRC_REG_NONE)

Hi @sddhruv, could you take a look at this topic in the Legato forum: https://forum.legato.io/t/stuck-in-low-power-mode-image-preference-mismatch/2820? If the symptoms don’t match, there are some additional diagnostic responses suggested there that might help determine the issue.

Thanks,
Ryan

Hello rkirk

unable to know the issue of temp, it shows

root@swi-mdm9x15:~# cm temp

Power Amplifier temperature: 40

Power Controller temperature: 45

Thank for your reply, but having Heating issue, even my radio is off temp is increasing

Its exponentially increasing

Hi Dhruv,

The temperature where you get these readings from is located inside the modem. Even when you place the unit in the Radio off mode, there will be 20-30ma of current consumption that will result in some temperature increase .What is the temp 15 mts later?

Ashish

Hello Ashish,
Thank you for your feedback, Before cm radio of it showed following temp output -(1) and after 15 mts output od temp (2)

(1) Before cm radio off it was increasing

Power Amplifier temperature: 28

Power Controller temperature: 32

Power Amplifier temperature: 29

Power Controller temperature: 33

(2) After cm radio off and 15mts output of temp and its at stable

Power Amplifier temperature: 41

Power Controller temperature: 46

Power Amplifier temperature: 41

Power Controller temperature: 46

And then its stable at

Power Amplifier temperature: 41

Power Controller temperature: 45

That seems stable and not an issue.

Hello,

Any suggestion for Testing or any procedure to follow, Any specific supply source it require ?

What happpens when you turn on the radio?

Hello,

After login with ssh, When cm radio on temp is increasing at rate 2 Degree per min (from 27-36) than i gave cm radio off

When cm radio off temp is still increasing with 1 Degree per min (from 36-47) than waited for 15min but temp fall down (40-41)

After 15 min i gave cm radio on temp was still increasing by 1 Degree per min (from 41-45) than got stable at 45

After 7 min i checked the temp was stable at 45 with cm radio on state. but in between it closed ssh automatically i relogin using ssh

Hi,

Let’s not focus on temperature but on connecting to the network for now. Can you please follow the getting started guide?

Is the SIM properly provisioned, activated, etc ?

Yes its activated, able to send sms

Were you able to get past this issue? I havent heard in awhile.

Hi @sddhruv,

Just because you can send SMS doesn’t always mean that you can make a data connection. Some Telcos require a separate DATA subscription before the SIM is enabled for DATA.

And … if you have a DATA subscription on your SIM have you got the correct APN? Again, some Telcos have different APNs for different DATA subscriptions (i.e. PAYG APN is different from post-paid APN and so on).

ciao, Dave

Hello, .
No the issue was not solved, so i gave my mangoh board to Bangalore unit(India) for testing.

Bangalore Sierra ?
Were you using a Sierra sim?
