I have installed sierra wireless Developer studio 4.2 in my linux host pc supporting legato versions 16.01-16.07, I have received MangoH green board and trying to test some example applications given in the developer studio it is giving some message as Framework compatibilty framework running on the device is 16.01.0.Beta version.
But Helloworld example works fine, rest of the applications are not starting.
Please Help me as im new to this platform. Thanks in advance

You probably need to upgrade your device to a more recent Firmware version.
First, you should upgrade to DS 5.0, and download Legato 16.10.1 package in the Packages perspective.
Then, go to the Device perspective and connect to your device.
There, you will be able to upgrade your device firmware thanks to the Flash Firmware… action in the toolbar.

DS can upgrade by itself, no need to do a fresh install again.
Please just launch it, and follow the instructions when you get the bottom-right popup notification for upgrade.
In the available new update description says “This package is a recent one that has not been tested yet with current Developer Studio version” is it safe to proceed installation.

Is there any other way to fix this issue.
Please upgrade your device to the latest wp firmware
Could you be more specific about the device(Host pc firmaware or wp8548 module).
If it is about wp8548 module when i was trying to upgrade it was giving three options

You’ll need to upgrade Developer Studio as well, to use the latest version (compatible with Legato 16.10).
You should have a notification when starting DS.
Alternatively, you can go to Help > Check for Updates menu to force upgrade.
This will remove the compatibility warning on Legato 16.10 packages.
You need to upgrade DS first, before upgrading your module firmware.
I have updated DS to 5.0 in my host PC and trying to create a Legato application it was giving an error saying
"java.util.NoSuchElementException".
Java version : 1.8.0_45
Please Help me fix this issue, I have been blocked not able to do create any project.
I have updated the DS 5.0 and Legato 16.10 and trying to create a project it was showing an error as “java.util.NoSuchElementException”.
It was working fine with DS 4.1.1 and Legato 16.07.

we have identified and reproduced this behavior, specific to 32 bits Linux.
Working on a fix; will keep you updated.
A new Legato 16.10.1 bundle for 32 bits hosts has just been made available.
Please check your Packages perspective and install the new version (build qualifier 201702141553).
You should uninstall as well the old version (build qualifier 201702011325), otherwise you’ll potentially still have troubles when creating new projects.
It has been resolved and i also updated my wp device to Latest firmware 16.10.
