# WP76 R9 and usb serial ftdi

Hello all

The R9 WP76 firmware have usb serial ftdi driver added.

To enable it :

Plug a usb ftdi device  
Enter command : modprobe ftdi\_sio

Look to /dev you will see ttyUSB0  
If you want to have ftdi driver loaded at startup without any script you must rebuild the yocto Distro. Replace « M » by « \* » to usb serial and ftdi usb serial .

This take a veryyyy long time
