# MangOH not Connecting to Mobile with Micro SIM

Hi everyone. Apologies in advance if this is a novice question, but I’ve been racking my brain on this a while.
I have the mangOH Green kit with a Sierra Wireless WP7504 chip attached running a Legato toolchain. I also have an activated Micro SIM card which I can’t seem to get working with the mangOH.
The SIM is new and has been activated with the carrier. I’ve inserted the Micro SIM into the Micro SIM/Micro SD combination slot (the bottom rung), and the main antenna is attached (confirmed as running “cm radio” indicates a signal strength).
The following information is output when running “cm radio”:
Power: ON
Current Network Operator: (blank)
RAT: UMTS network (LE\_MRC\_RAT\_UMTS)
Status: Not registered but currently searching for a new operator (LE\_MRC\_REG\_SEARCHING)
Signal: Good signal strength (3)
PS: Packet Switched Not registered (LE\_MRC\_REG\_NONE)
As indicated, the radio is turned on, as well. To verify, running “cm radio on” outputs “Radio power is already set to ON.”
Is there some way I need to tell my mangOH board to read from the Micro SIM slot as opposed to the primary, Mini SIM slot, or something along those lines? I can’t seem to find a solution either way.

Update: I managed to fix the problem by using a Micro SIM to Mini SIM adapter and using the primary Mini SIM slot instead. If anyone else has this problem, that’s probably the easiest solution.

To switch between the SIM slots, you can do:
`cm sim select EXTERNAL_SLOT_1`
or
`cm sim select EXTERNAL_SLOT_2`
