Hi everyone, I just got a MangOH Green in the mail and set up everything for development. So far I can SSH into it, install apps, all that fun stuff. Where I’m getting stuck is connecting to AirVantage. When I do the AT commands to connect to AV I get this error: root@swi-mdm9x15:~# microcom -E /dev/ttyAT at OK at+wdsi = 8191 OK at+wdss=1,1 ERROR Do I need a sim card to connect to AV? O\_o If not how do I connect without one? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! ---

I set it to internet by doing this 1. cm data apn internet 2. cm data info 3. cm data connect Then I opened a new SSH window to leave the connection up, yet still get just “ERROR” when I try to run at+wdss=1,1 ---

The apn doesnt seem correct. what is the SIM you are using? ---

I don’t have a SIM, was wondering if I needed a SIM to connect to AV or if I could do it via Ethernet? ---

Hi Dallas, If you program your WP with release 14 firmware and then Legato 17.05 then it should be possible to connect to AirVantage using WiFi. Unfortunately, ethernet is still not supported because ethernet is not supported by the data connection service (not sure why). ---

dfrey, in order to use wifi, shouldnt I have the wifi extension card? Regards
