# Fwupdate does nothing

mangOH Red + WP7702 module, DIP 7 -\> OFF  
I have built custom kernel from _Legato-Dist-Source-mdm9x06-SWI9X06Y\_02.18.05.00.tar.bz2_ using instructions _[https://github.com/mangOH/mangOH/wiki/Bluetooth-WL18xx-driver-for-mangOH](https://github.com/mangOH/mangOH/wiki/Bluetooth-WL18xx-driver-for-mangOH)_  
then copied with scp file yocto\_wp77xx.4k.cwe to /tmp on board and used fwupdate tool to flash it. But after flashing version on board is not changed, it was …02.16… and still 02.16, but sources it is 02.18

before and after flashing:

check “cat /etc/legato/version” and “legato version” or ATI8 AT command.
