yes, you need to update the FW.
you can use scp to transfer the .spk file to module /tmp folder, after that you can use “fwupdate download /tmp/xxx.spk” command to update the FW.
BTW, you should use leaf to download swi-wp76_4.7.0 which will have legato 20.04.

I guess I can also go the Windows .exe route, right? Since I have a Telekom SIM I’ll probably have to download this file: R13.1 (Generic — GCF) , right?
What throws me of a bit is the fact that it says that Generic GCF corresponds to the Base Legato System 19.02.0. This means I still won’t have Legato 20.04 running on the module or am I missing something here?

Two methods:
You can compile the app by legato 19.2
Or you can upgrade your module to legato 20.04
