# External modem on Mangoh Red

I have an additional vodafone 4g modem connected to mangoh red board’s onboard USB connector. The modem is pre-configured to connect to the service provider. On my windows / linux system I am getting the connectivity. I want to access its 4g network via mangoh. I see that it is getting detected via “lsusb” command. However, I am not able to get internet connectivity. “ifconfig” is not showing any new interfaces. Is it possible to add it manually?
