# AirVantage asset data commands are sometimes very slow to reach target

Hey @Francis.duhaut,

We’re in British Columbia, Canada and testing with Sierra Wireless SIM cards. This could be related to the 3G issues you mentioned in the USA (since we’re so close). I’ve also been very cautious about what routines I call from the `modemService` since it’s not _strictly_ multi app safe and is already used by the `dataConnectionService`.
